Competition for Autosport 2007 tickets

We've just uploaded a new competition to the Birmingham 101 website for FREE TICKETS to the Autosport 2007 show at the NEC in January. It's always a great show and one of my favourites especially coming as it does just after Xmas and the New Year. Something to look forward to. It covers just about every aspect of motorsport and as ever there will be plenty of stars from the world of motorsport.

Review - BBC Good Food Show NEC

Just got back from going to this years Good Food Show at the Birmingham NEC and can highly recommend it! A massive show with just about everything you would hope to see. Plenty of celebrity chefs, if thats what you want, and plenty of visitors too. If you are planning to go be prepared for the crowds (especially around the exhibitors giving out samples) but this probably all adds to the overall atmosphere. There certainly seemed to be plenty of satisfied customers judging by the number of people leaving loaded up with bags. Always a good sign.

Review - Park Hall Hotel, Wolverhampton

Recently we had the opportunity to stay at the Park Hall Hotel in Wolverhampton. A very nice place with great food and facilities. Has anyone else stayed there? If so what were your opinions - please leave us your comments.

Feature - New way to fight fear of flying

NEW ACADEMY LAUNCHED TO COMBAT AIRLINE PASSENGERS FEAR OF FLYING - We were recently invited to the launch of a new service based here in the Midlands that aims to help people combat their fear of flying. It is run by Birmingham born Pablo Mason, a former RAF Tornado pilot who now flies for a major commercial airline, along with several other experts in this field. A great character who will almost certainly help. Definitely worth a look if you are one of the thousands that fear the prospect of flying.
